Here’s some folks I met at BlogHer - check them out!:

Catherine Kirkman - lawyer at Wilson, Sonsini
Anna Mutineer
Flink
and of course
Lisa Stone

Robert - you are NOT part of the problem - we love you

Sunday, July 31st, 2005

So I’m getting back to trolling through my aggregator and I ran across this Scobleizer post - where Robert admits that maybe it was better that he DIDN’T attend BlogHer.
I certainly understand where Robert is coming from - as he’s a pretty domineering force in the blogosphere today.
But I disagree that he’s part of the […]

BlogHer hers

Sunday, July 31st, 2005

Speaking of beautiful women, here’s my wife Lisa (right) and Ashley Richards (left.)
This is from the first night’s dinner at BlogHer. I missed Heather Gold’s set - as I had to play MrMom and take the girls back to the hotel room. It felt good to be in a minority.

BlogHer scene

Sunday, July 31st, 2005

I had a great time at BlogHer. Here’s Halley Suitt and Kaliya Hamlin doing a podcast.
One idea I threw out was for someone to create a BlogHer 100 - since there are virtually no women on any of the other so-called ‘lists’. So just do one for your own, I said.
Mary Hodder also […]

The opening session went over the survey they asked folks to fill out on registering:

- 1/3 = 1 blog 1/3 = 2 blogs 1/3 = 4 blogs
- 52% never been to a blogging conference before
- No school […]

Bunch o Links

Monday, July 25th, 2005

I’ll be travelling and trying to blog Rafat’s party - but in the mean time - here’s a bunch of stuff I wanna unleash:
1. Needless to say I think that the Konfabulator purchase continues to show who’s thinking forward, open and kicking serious bootey. Congrats AGAIN to Yahoo. I agree with Charlene - […]

Hey Kevin - can’t make it to Tag Tuesday (will be in LaLa) but I wanna plant some notes here - that hopefully will get brought up

Monday, July 25th, 2005

In your excellent retort to Stowe Boyd’s post on ‘OpenTags’, you point out that anyone can put a rel=tag on their URLs - and you DON’T have to use Technorati’s domain.
Then I’d suggest that you turn off the advertising on Dave Weinberger’s blog - ’cause it sure looks like it says Technorati Tags - to […]

Thank you Dana Blankenhorn

Saturday, July 23rd, 2005

Dana has posted a very nice piece on the essense of the ‘open source business‘ we’re fostering with the GoingOn Network.
But since I’m obsessed with getting the story and message right, for the sake of clarity:
1. I’m not rich. I used to be. I invested my money in what is now called […]
