This is from the first night’s dinner at BlogHer. I missed Heather Gold’s set - as I had to play MrMom and take the girls back to the hotel room. It felt good to be in a minority.

I had a great time at BlogHer. Here’s Halley Suitt and Kaliya Hamlin doing a podcast.
One idea I threw out was for someone to create a BlogHer 100 - since there are virtually no women on any of the other so-called ‘lists’. So just do one for your own, I said.

I’m at my first conference with my wife - Lisa.

The opening session went over the survey they asked folks to fill out on registering:
- 80% women, 20% men
- 1/3 = 1 blog 1/3 = 2 blogs 1/3 = 4 blogs
- 52% never been to a blogging conference before
- No school […]

So they can express themselves in non-traditional form.
