On the train to Waterloo
So I’m working out in Wokingham - which is part of the Reading “The UK’s Silicon Valley” area west of London. Our client - Visual Media - are teh folks who do Pluginz.com and JahShaka - which Doc wrote about two years ago.
They’ve had over 200k downloads of their open source high-end graphics/animation tool and we’re designing a social network and media blogging DLA for them.
Today I meet with several other potential clients and (hopefully) continue to spread the DLA meme. When I get back - we’ll have our other new client over in SF for a month of meetings and will be starting two other projects - which makes four simultaneous active projects, with our aSmallWorld project ramping down.
Whereever I go - the DLA pitch is warmly received and immediately put into the context of whoever I’m meeting with.
Now we get to show what this all has to do with microformats, new kinds of tools and integration, aggregation and customization - in general.
If everything continues - as is - I’ll be posting for more ‘Mini-Marcs’ soon enough.

Mini-Marc’s. Now, there’s a scary yet exciting possibility.
