So now I’m up in Seattle for Gnomedex. I missed it last year - as that wa sthe wekend of my father’s funeral.

So I WASN’T gonna miss out this year - especially since BOTH my old friends Dave Winer and Adam Curry are the book-ends keynotes.

I get to sit in the audience and heckle - while my ourmedia.org partner JD raps it out. We’ll be showing interstitials between sessions all conference.

Meanwhile it’s quite a scene. The fire dept was called for some errant smoke detector last night at the opening party and Denise Howell convinced me that motherhood is a saintly experience that every woman shoudl experience. She’s glowing.

Got to hang with Mr. Weatherbug Chris Sloop last night for dinner - along with Steve Gillmor, Steve Rubel, Dan Farber and JD. Maybe now I can understand what Attention.xml is all about. I hope Steve uses the ‘annotating a podcast’ example.
