Round-up
OK moving beyond elistist a-list enadencies and echo room meme-age - let’s look at what’s going on around us - right now:
- Liz Smith meets Movable Hype - Steve Gillnor has seen it all before and unfortunately the hype is catching up to the meat.
- Tribe is starting to show off the new interface - I tried to get them to do 2 years ago.
- Arthur Van Hoff - left TiVo - ooops. I wonder if they’ll EVER ship the Strangeberry stuff.
- lots of talk about AdobeMacromedia. No sign of them givingme back teh name I invented and they dis-honored. Let alone their customers who they’re about to fuck.
- I love this title - APIs are the new HTML
- almost as good - Tag clouds are the new mullets
- Congrats to Robert Kaye - it couldn’t happened to a niccer guy. Godo luck MusicBrainz!
- Waxy is waxing things up. Don’t count UComing.org out. Go Andy go!
- Meanwhile over in Drupal land - V4.6 has been released.
- One conference we’re going to (any excuse to get up to Vancouver) is called VIDfest. Roland has some info on it.
- and then there’s Gnomedex. I missed it last year (cause of my father’s death) but I ain’t missing it this year. I’m doing a seminar on new kinds of micro-content - at 3AM - in the hotel pool.
And Good Yuntuf to you all - who even know what the hell it is I’m talking about. Day Day Dayenu.
