OK - I’m breaking down and whining now.

We’re getting too dam successful - and though we’re ramping up nicely on all fronts - one thing has been plauging me. I need a spec writer - someone who can grok what it is I’m talking about - and break it down into writing.

We have four specs to finish and roll out in the next two months. I know exactly how to do them, we have examples of exactly how we like them, we have intelligent clients ready to recieve them - I just don’t want to do them all by myself.

Quite frankly it’s getting boring. We got programmers in Delhi, Hawaii, Christ Church, NYC, Boston, Toronto and Vancouver working - we got virtual managers managing - but now it’s time for a MiniMe.

So here’s the job spec:
- incredibly adept at virtual working enviornments, 24/7 communication,
- great writer, communicator, people person
- totally grok DLAs and where we’re headed
- five years experience in tech - writing specs a must
- flexible, not dogmatic - “only way to do it” should not apply - I have my own way, and you’ll be expected to crank these things out - like one a week
- hard, hard, hard working - did I mention - bust your butt work ethic?
- good English (no need for great - we can get others to fix grammar) - but it’s:
- creating charts, mockups, diagrams
- work flow analysis
- usage scenarios
- schedules
- complete docs

….that is essential.
