Flex raises it price

What’s amazing is to watch Macromedia and their private blogging corps try to spin this one.

What software company raises it prices nowadays? says David Temkin.

Here’s my theory:

- Macromedia has found a hit in Breeze. They now have an enterprise sales force out there doing onesies and twosies.

- Thye’re building a suite of add-on modules - so watch out if you’re Convoq, Userplane and anybody else who relies upon the FlashComn server.

- So where does Flex fit into this? Well I don’t think Macromedia wants to be in the tools biz anymore - so they’lll raise the price, sell it through their direct sales force - ane once again - fuck their developers.

- this is what I think is going on

IMHO

Oh BTW - what’s the story with this hidden backdoor in the flash player - that only Macromedia gets to use?

    What “backdoor”?

How can others see what you’re seeing?
