As money seeps into the blogosphere I think it’s important to remind bloggers to ALWAYS clearly post if you are taking money for any or all of your posts.
We do that as part of the Marqui blogger’s program.
Everyone should - who does take money.

this whole disclaimer thing is age-old for writers and there are still slip ups. it’s an ethical issue for all writers.
lately, i’ve gotten a bit paranoid with transparency, so i paused for station identification in places where there might be confusion:

it’s good to periodically remind your readers what are the different relationships you have that might affect your writing and speaking. but, fortunately, for the most part, people keep their integrity intact, even in the face of gadgets and dinero.
