SuperBowl ad analysis

Every year the intelligentsia watch the SuperBowl not for the football - but for the ads. It’s become the true litmus on the state of the Amerikan economy.

I started watching an hour before the game began - and I saw/heard something that apprently GigaOm - Om Mailk didn’t.

COMCAST is raising their download speed to 4MBps.
I dug the Diet Pepsi Ads showing off P.Diddy’s meme power and GoDaddy.com (of course) - but I think the classiest ad was the DirectTV ad - we’re changing TV - as the guy walked trhough his life - all mirrored by the state of TV at the time.

Brilliant ad. Can’t wait to see DirectTV’s version of PVR. Weird thing is I can’t find it on any of the BowlAd sites. Perhaps it ran right before the game began and is officially NOT a SuperBowl ad. Whatever - it was killer.

The Olympus mRobe looks pretty cool and I can’t wait to see “War of the Worlds”.
