We did an IRC chat last night (my time) for the OpenMedia project.

Here’s the beginnings of those efforts - An XSPF-based schema for OpenMedia playlists from Lucas Gonze.

Now I gotta go figure out what’s XSPF (something tells me it has something to do with Kevin Marks) and how this works with all the OTHER playlist formats out there.

There’s nothing I hate more - than redeundant work, overlapping cofusions and tech politics in general. That seems to take up most of my time.

Like yet another digital ID format - from Atom.

Ugh.

Anyway - thanks to Lucas for this - it’s great getting this effort started. Maybe we should call it ourMedia.org instead.
