One thing Doc doesn’t mention - which I blame myself for - is that FOAF is an important standard that can help promulgate the kind of [...]

OK - so I’m sitting here in paris - with an extra moment - so I dipped my toe back into the blgosphere long enough to catch Jay Dedman’s rap on “How to make life easier explained very clearly“.
I dig what he’s saying and pointing to - but I can’t help but wonder how this [...]

Coolio Facewall interface

Thursday, September 16th, 2004

Leonard Lin points to this dyanmic Facewall interface which features folks turning their heads to look at who you’ve zoomed into.

Peter and I agree - it’s gotta be more than just advertising and sponsorship…..

Tuesday, September 14th, 2004

Here’s Peter Caputa’s reaction to Stowe Boyd’s ideas on making money with social networking. The one thing we’re ALL in agreement with - it ain’t “pay to play”.
Here’s Peter’s post:

In reference to Ryze’s recent changes, Stowe has spouted some predictions on what biz models will work:
In the final analysis, I bet that pay-for-play won’t [...]

Auren Hoffman just spent nine months analyzing the acuuracy and results of all the major search engines.
He notices lots of descrepancies and inaccuracies.
Me too.
I’m currently at 46,900. There’s one other Marc Canter out there running around. He’s the manager/owener at Canter’s Deli on Fairfax in West Hollywood.

Anyway Auren’s report is interesting.
