Ted Leung is being drawn deeper and deeper into an digital lifestyle on-line world.
Here’s Ted’s post…..

The wired world is slowly absorbing pieces of me. There’s the weblog, where I write prose, del.icio.us has my bookmarks, and now Flickr has got my pictures. Never mind the social networking sites. And [...]

Lightweight Business Models

Wednesday, September 22nd, 2004

The workshop that Jason Fried and myself will be giving at Web 2.0 is entitled “Lightweight Business Models”. I’m liking that title more and more as we approach the event.
What will be interesting to see - will be all the Web 1.0 folks meeting all the Web 2.0 folks. Lots of announcements, schmoozing, [...]

Breaking out those Reviews into a separate list

Tuesday, September 21st, 2004

So is the micro-content (that makes up a list of Movie Reviews) called Lists or Movie Reviews?

Tuesday, September 21st, 2004

I have this vivid memory of meeting Adam Bosworth out on Dave Winer’s patio - back in like 1997. He (at the time) as an all-star at Microsoft - having just created IE and a key guy in the XML game.
Then Adam went to BEA and now Google.
He’s now caught up with revelations about [...]

Whenever they hear about lots of people congragating - their ears perk up.
So Tony Perkins - and his AlwaysOn Network has decided to monetize that - and charge for Groups in it’s Zaibatsu social network. [...]

A9’s UI

Monday, September 20th, 2004

I haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere - so I’ll pitch in my own insights into A9.
Not only is it a major step forward in the world of search engines - and sure to give Google and Yahoo a run for it’s money - but it’s also a major step forward in mainstream UI.
What I see [...]

My father died

Sunday, September 19th, 2004

Some people come out over the web, others have been married or given birth.
For me - I’m going to deal with the death of my father.
He died while I was in Europe and I choice to deal with his death until now - as I was in the middle of a micro-content roadshow - my [...]

Going to school is like getting paid to create

Sunday, September 19th, 2004

So I’m sitting here on a wet Sunday morning and watching a video by Justin Hall. He’s gone back to school - and is having a great time in LaLa.
Excerpt from a Justin poem…..

I pause during my second ginger ale and sit on a couch and wait for my date: soon after i’m surrounded [...]
