Just as soon as CountZero (Alex Hung) gets his WYSIWYG version of ecto ready - I’m there baby!
Once you want a feature so badly that you’re willing to change tools - it means it’s time to change tools.
I was delighted to see Shelly Powers talking about going back to MT. It’s not that WordPress is bad, it’s the energy one has to put into being a tool user. You not only want to expel the least amount towards the tool itself (as opposed to USING the tool) but you also want that vibe to be as positive as possible.

Sauce Reader is worth a look. It is an RSS reader with a built in weblog posting tool that supports WYSIWYG editing, offline work, synchronisation with conflict detection.

BlogJet does WYSIWYG already… not sure I understand the excitement of it coming out in a future ecto release. But then, i haven’t tried it yet.
